Alabama Hills Under Our Feet

This ancient landscape captures the stories of the ages. Hear geological and cultural tales on several short walks through corridors and mounds nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Part of the Alabama Hills Natural History Interpretive Hike Series.

WHEN: 10 a.m. to noon, including drive time
WHERE: The Eastern Sierra Interagency Visitor Center, U.S. 395 and
CA-136, Lone Pine, California. We’ll carpool from there.
WEAR: Layered clothing for a range of conditions, sturdy footwear
and plenty of water.
